Topic: Cost of capital (equity or/and debt) can significantly affect the financial performance of a business. By reviewing relevant journal articles (minimum 6 required), identify three (3) factors that you believe are important in determining the cost of capital of a firm. In your written assignment, you need to:

(1) provide theoretical evidence of how the chosen factors can affect the cost of capital;

(2) using ASX (Australian Securities Exchange) listed firms as examples, provide empirical supporting evidence to your arguments.

This is a group assignment. The groups will be formed in tutorials in Week 2, with each group consisting of 2 students. Group members are expected to actively discuss and work among themselves but not refer to the work of any other groups.
