Final Project for 1302
Instructions for Term Paper:
• Format: (MLA or APA, 8-10 pages, at least 8 secondary sources, works cited page)
• Research paper (any type: Rogerian, literary analysis, rhetorical analysis, in-depth, ect.)
• As usual, come up with your own thesis and defend it throughout your paper. You have extraordinary freedom in this paper, so please have fun and make it good!!!
• You are welcome to hand it in early in order to get feedback on this project as it is the most important paper in this class. I also suggest you talk to me about your thesis before you hand it in—this will eliminate any awkward and frustrating surprises when you hand in the final project.
Annotated Bibliography
• MLA A PA citation
• Single spaced!!! 12. Font
• 1 paragraph per entry
• At least 10 entries (should take up at least half a page each)
Structure of Annotations
o Full citation (as if would appear in your works cited page)
o Thesis statement (paraphrase or quote)
o Major points (or the points that relate to your research)
o Usable quotes (that might or will go into your paper)
o Statement of intent (state if you intend to use this source and why)
