Hospitality management, What are you supposed to do? (Directions)
What are you supposed to do? (Directions)
Step 1: Download the sample assignment and review, type the date, your name and section (-1 if the name, date, and section is incomplete)
Step 2: Review the list of APPROVED workshops and choose three different ones to attend. Some workshops/events require RSVPs, though most are walk in. Additional workshops may be added throughout the quarter for you to attend through Announcements. You must choose from the list of APPROVED workshops, if you attend a workshop that is not approved you will receive 0 points. Do not commit this FATAL ERROR.
Step 3: Attend the workshops/events you choose. Make sure you obtain the signature of the workshop/session administrator at each event you attend at the time you attend it. Please note, those arriving more than 2 minutes past the start of the workshop or leaving before the conclusion of the workshop will not receive a signature and credit for attendance. They will need to select another workshop to attend for this assignment.
Step 4: Opening up the sample assignment begin your analysis. For EACH workshop/event, you attended have a 500+ word commentary including:
• why you choose the workshop
• a summary of content covered
• at least one pro and con for each event, and if you would recommend to a friend
Step 5: Scan or take a photo of your Session Verification Form. Insert this image into your sample assignment document. Failure to do will result in -4 points per workshop on this assignment.
Step 6: Save your now edited sample word document as a PDF (In MS Word, go to “Save As” and then choose file type .pdf). (-2 points if you fail to do this step)
Step 7: Upload assignment using the link provided in this folder.
